Where & When
The original gig list is preserved as the starting point. It is deliberately not rewritten to make it look more certain than the surviving evidence allows.
Open Where & When →Library Reading Room
Browse the supplied source library directly, with preservation kept separate from later verification.
Open Library Reading Room →Library
The source library keeps the supplied documents and archive material alongside the pages built from them.
Open Source Library →Tickets
Surviving tickets, transcriptions and ticket-led evidence are kept together.
Open Tickets & Admissions →Memories
Personal recollections remain personal recollections, including uncertainty and differences between memories.
Open People's Memories →Images
Photographs and recovered visual material are indexed separately so the pictures themselves are not lost inside the research pages.
Open Image Archive →Folk Club
The folk-club material has its own collection, documentary records, oral histories and venue trail.
Open Folk Club Collection →What is already packaged
| Item | Current count | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Website HTML pages | 232 | Pages available to browse in the current build. |
| All packaged files | 645 | HTML, source material, images, scripts, styles and other archive files. |
| Supplied source files | 343 | Files retained in the archive-source collection. |
The important distinction
Loaded does not mean proved. A gig can be present because it came from your original Where & When list, a ticket, a photograph, a memory, an advert, a newspaper, an oral history or another source. The site records that provenance instead of forcing everything into one level of certainty.
That lets us finish building the website now. Detailed checking can happen later, when there is time for it, without losing the original trail.
