The archive now treats two separate 1977 Chancellor Hall dates for The Vibrators as strongly supported appearances. They are not a duplicated single entry. The supplied tour image also makes the first date clear: the printed “26th” sits in the June part of the itinerary, so this is 26 June, not 26 July.

A contemporary Record Mirror tour advertisement in the 25 June 1977 issue lists 26th — Chancellor Hall, Chelmsford as part of The Vibrators' Pure Mania tour. In the supplied tour image, that “26th” appears in the June itinerary block. It therefore reads as 26 June 1977, not July 26. The same itinerary is also preserved in later band/venue research sources.

A contemporary Record Mirror listings page for Thursday 7 July 1977 explicitly gives Chelmsford, Chancellor Hall — Vibrators. The band's tour material and later Chancellor Hall listings independently retain the same date.

Why this matters
This is another useful repeat-appearance check. The archive should not assume that a band's first Chancellor Hall entry is its only appearance. Here the contemporary paperwork gives two distinct dates only eleven days apart.
The surviving evidence does not currently tell us whether the site owner attended either show, so no personal attendance is being inferred.
