Fabulous Poodles — 27 November 1977

Sunday 27 November 1977

Fabulous Poodles — Chancellor Hall, Chelmsford. A contemporary Record Mirror newsdesk listing dated 29 October 1977 gives the Fabulous Poodles tour dates and specifically lists Chelmsford Chancellor Hall on November 27. The band's surviving gig chronology independently records the same date and venue.

This is considerably stronger than a bare later venue database: the contemporary trade-paper notice was published before the concert and names the venue and date directly.

What is still missing

No surviving Chelmsford Rocks ticket, poster, local newspaper report, photograph or first-person Chelmsford memory has yet been matched to this appearance. The archive therefore records it as a strongly supported event, while keeping the evidence level distinct from ticket-backed shows.
