Radio Stars — comments from people who were there
Three later comments preserved alongside the surviving 3 September 1978 Chancellor Hall ticket.
Duncan Egleton
“I saw them and if I remember correctly they were booed off, I think they were quite a few years older than the audience and seemed just to be hanging on the coat tails of punk. They did bring out a decent LP though ‘Songs for swinging lovers’ which if you listen to it now, sounds good and of the era.”
Julian Dench
“You are both correct - I was also there. I liked the album.”
Alistair Gordon
“I remember seeing them although I don't remember them being booed they weren't bad the great John Peel liked them and i'm sure they did a couple of sessions for his show not bad album and some decent if not outstanding singles”

Why the differences matter
Duncan remembers the band being booed; Alistair does not. Both were there. The archive keeps both memories because disagreement is part of oral history.
The ticket establishes the documentary date and venue: Chancellor Hall, Chelmsford, Sunday 3 September 1978. The comments add human recollection and opinion rather than replacing the ticket evidence.
