Curated visual archive
Image Archive
Images are now shown with the page they belong to — event, venue, memorabilia or source record — rather than as a filename-only pile. Browse all preserved source images as thumbnails →
How to read these counts: The curated gallery groups source images with a page when the archive can support the connection. The Source Image Browser shows all preserved image files as thumbnails, including files that have not been added to the curated gallery. Some of those images may also appear on other site pages.

Source images awaiting placement
These original files have not been deleted or rewritten. They are being held back from the public image gallery until the archive can establish what event, venue, person or source record they belong to. This prevents the visual archive from inventing associations simply because a filename looks promising.
When a photograph is matched, it will be placed on the appropriate page and linked here through the archive structure. A photograph will never be altered by adding someone's recollection on top of it.
